ECOLE DE PATISSERIE (SCHOOL OF PASTRY) is a school that committed to producing professional, fine quality Pastry Chef in the pastry career. Founded by Chef Kenny, a Pastry Chef by profession since 1990, he is a true professional that has the passion for his craft and drive for excellence. And teaching is the best way to pass on his knowledge and help others to learn, to raise the skill level of the profession.
ECOLE DE PATISSERIE is a "CITY & GUILDS (C & G) INTERNATIONAL, LONDON approved center offering Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Patisserie for both professional and amateur. Our team is made of talented and committed individuals who bring not only technical skills to the mix, but passion for excellence.
ECOLE DE PATISSERIE’s goal is to provide students with a solid theoretical and practical foundation in baking practices. This includes selection of ingredients, proper mixing and baking techniques, careful makeup and assembly, skilled and imaginative decoration and presentation.
ECOLE DE PATISSERIE provides latest in baking technologies and techniques. Students will be well equipped and have the extra advantage in the baking industries. Ones can pursue many different options in their career. You may own your own business, work for hotels, cafes and bakery, to be a sales and marketing person. You may also share your knowledge by being an instructor or lecturer.
At ECOLE DE PATISSERIE, we maintain a maximum 20 students per class in order to provide an effective and quality learning experience for our students. You will have plenty of hands-on and repetition as an opportunity for building skills. Only by doing a baking task over and over can you really master and understand every nuance and variable of it.
What does it take to be a good pastry chef? You need to have the formal baking education like the Diploma and Advance Diploma in Pastry where you will get to learn a set of skills. But in many ways, attitudes are more important than skills because a good attitude will help you not only learn skills but also persevere and overcome the difficulties you may face in your career. So be eager to work hard and put in extra effort to advance you skill. Never stop learning, read, study and experiment different things and recipes. Keep up with the latest development in technology, techniques and trend. Be dedicated to servicing others, giving attention to quality and food safety, making customers feel welcome and be a good team player. Take pride in your work and make sure it is something to be proud of. Maintain a positive attitude, be humble, work efficiently, neatly, safely and always aims for high quality and always setting a good example for others.
At ECOLE DE PATISSERIE, we conduct classes in English and Chinese language. Anyone who is after Form 3, Form 5 is eligible to study here. We will provide student counseling to help you identify where you are now and where you want to be and how to get there.
